Tips for Photographers and Visitors
Know what the tides will be like:
This beach is beautiful during low and higher tides, but for the best reflections (in the small water pools) and for the most beach to play on, check tide charts before your shoot. If you're booking with me, I will make sure to check all of this beforehand!
Know sunrise vs sunset:
For reference, this session was taken during sunset. The sunsets behind the trees (so shadows will be facing the waves). Sunrise is also incredibly stunning here as the sun rises right over the water! The most beautiful of backdrops if you're up for the early mornings!
Bring layers and a maybe a blanket:
Even warm evenings on Vancouver Island can cool quickly after sunset, especially near the water. Blankets are also so much fun to sit and lay down on during your session.
Respect the environment:
